Kenneth E. Deems
Kenneth E. Deems, age 49, of Uniontown, Pa., died Wednesday, December 20, 2006. He was born October 16, 1957, in West Brownsville, Pa.
Kenneth was employed at Gavco, Inc.
He was a veteran who served honorably in the United States Air Force.
He loved the outdoors and was an avid fisherman, hunter and hiker.
Kenneth was preceded in death by his father, Clifford Deems.
Surviving are his wife, Joyce L. Rockwell Deems; his mother, Carolyn E. Deems of West Brownsville, Pa.; four siblings: Cindy Lacey and her husband Donald, Bonnie Deems and Robert Deems all of West Brownsville and Deborah Deems Vernet of Donora, Pa.; his mother-in-law, Charlotte Rockwell; sister-in-law, Conni Krcelich; brother-in-law, Rodney Rockwell; nieces and nephews; a special great-niece, Arianna Haky, whom he dearly loved; and his two kitties: JR and Fluffy.
Friends will be received in the JEROME W. SHELL FUNERAL HOME, 164 South Mount Vernon Avenue, Uniontown, Pa., today from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and Saturday, December 23, until 11 a.m., the hour of Service with the Rev. Roland M. O’Brien officiating.
Interment will follow in Walnut Hill Cemetery, Georges Township.
