Mark Matthew Posinak, age 51, of Uniontown, Pa., died on Monday, December 18, 2006, in UPMC Montefiore Hospital, Pittsburgh, Pa. He was born on January 6, 1955, in Connellsville, Pa.

Mark was a member of Saint Mary (Nativity) Roman Catholic Church in Uniontown and The Croatian Fraternal Union Lodge 72.

Prior to his declining health, he was employed as a nightclub manager for Mahoney’s and also The VIP Lounge at the Mount Vernon Inn both in Uniontown and was affiliated with The VIP Lounge in Washington, Pa.

His father, Matthew Posinak, died in 1997.

Left to cherish his memory are his mother, Mary (Delivuk) Posinak of Uniontown, Pa.; a sister, Mary Ann Nicholson of Uniontown; his dear nieces: Heather Kasovich of Grindstone, Pa., and Cherie Nicholson and her father, Dan, of Uniontown, who loved and admired him; many cousins; and dear family friends, the Mahoney family.

Friends will be received in the STEPHEN R. HAKY FUNERAL HOME INC., 603 North Gallatin Avenue Extension, Uniontown, Pa., today (Friday, December 22, 2006) until 9:15 a.m.

A Mass of Christian Burial follows at 10 a.m. in Saint Mary (Nativity) Roman Catholic Church, North Mount Vernon Avenue, with Rev. Father Micah E. Kozoil as Celebrant.

Interment will be held at Saint Mary (Nativity) Cemetery, Uniontown, Pa.

Visitation was also held Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
