Mary Elizabeth Morris Verbus
Mary Elizabeth Morris Verbus, age 65, of Uniontown, Pa., passed away suddenly on Thursday morning, December 21, 2006, in her home. She was born January 8, 1941, in Oliver, Fayette County, Pa., the daughter of William Lener and Mary Margaret Lener. Mary was raised by her grandparents, Albert and Rose Morris.
Mary was an avid bingo player.
She loved her grandchildren and adored her family.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her sons, Franklin Junior Verbus and Joseph Verbus, and her sister, Blanche Lener.
Mary is survived by her daughter, Elizabeth Rose Verbus Nypaver and her husband Jerry of Uniontown, Pa.; sons: Jeffrey Bodine Verbus and his wife Karen of Ronco, Pa., and Michael Lee Verbus of Masontown, Pa.; and grandchildren: Jerome Stephen Nypaver, Nicholas John Nypaver, Tonya Bricker, Tanya Bricker, Tara Bricker, Shannon Verbus and Sabrina Verbus. She is also survived by her brothers and sisters: Bill Lener, Rose Hale, Robert Lener, James Allamon, John Mancinni, Janet Mancinni and Eleanor Rosenberger.
Friends will be received in the STEPHEN E. KEZMARSKY III FUNERAL HOME AT 71 PENNSYLVANIA AVENUE, UNIONTOWN, Pa., today, December 22, 2006, from 5 to 9 p.m. and Saturday morning, December 23, 2006, until 10 a.m. when a Blessing Service will be held with the Rev. Father Michael J. Crookston officiating.
Interment will follow in Walnut Hill Cemetery, Georges Township.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Kezmarsky Funeral Home at 71 Pennsylvania Avenue, Uniontown, Pennsylvania 15401 in memory of Mary.
