Nellie V. Cronin
Nellie V. Cronin, 91, of Allison, Pa., passed away, Thursday, December 21, 2006, at the home of her daughter, Carolyn in Flanders, New Jersey. She was born January 7, 1915, in Edenborn, Pa., a daughter of the late John Nalepka and Caroline Kutz Nalepka.
Nellie was a member of the Church of the Madonna, Cardale, Pa., and was retired from Uniontown Hospital after 30 years of service.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Cronin, sisters and brothers, Caroline Kovach, Helen Sholtis, Annie Bautzman, Frank, Rudy, John and Bill Nalepka.
Surviving are her daughter, Carolyn Grice and husband, Pete of Flanders, New Jersey; grandchildren: Katie and Mike Grice; and several nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received in the ROBERT T. KISH FUNERAL HOME, INC., ONE LEGION STREET, RUPUBLIC, Pa., on Tuesday, December 26, 2006, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and Wednesday, December 27, 2006, until 9:30 a.m. when a Prayer Service will be held.
A Funeral Mass follows at 10 a.m. in the Church of the Madonna with the Rev. Father Stephen Bugay as Celebrant.
Interment will be in LaFayette Memorial Park.
A Parish Wake Service will be held on Tuesday, at 8:30 p.m.
