Charles W. “Junior” Spaugy
Charles W. “Junior” Spaugy, age 78, formerly of New Salem, Pa., passed away Sunday, December 10, 2006, in Eicher’s Family Home, Normalville, Pa. He was born May 13, 1928, in Leisenring Three, Fayette County, Pa., the son of William H. Spaugy and Catherine Seighman Spaugy.
“Junior” was a member of the New Salem Presbyterian Church.
He is survived by his sisters: Gertrude McArdle, Lucille Carroll and her husband, Paul, and Aileen Clay and her husband, Harold, all of New Salem, Pa.; and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral and Committal Services for Junior’s family were held on Wednesday, December 13, 2006, in the DEARTH FUNERAL HOME, 35 South Mill Street, New Salem, Pa.
Interment followed in the Pennsville Independent Cemetery, Pennsville, Pa.
Friends are invited to join with family for a Memorial Service in Junior’s memory, which will be held Tuesday, December 26, 2006, at 2 p.m. in the NEW SALEM PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH with the Rev. Norma P. Murphy officiating.
