Eva Adeline Yoder Fulmer

Eva Adeline Yoder Fulmer, 92, of South Connellsville, Pa., formerly of Connellsville, went to be with the Lord, Tuesday, December 26, 2006, while in the South Connellsville Personal Care Home where she had resided for the last several years. Recently Eva has been under hospice care while at the personal care home. She was born January 13, 1914, in Beachwood, West Virginia, a daughter of the late Joseph H. and Minnie Satterfield Yoder.

Eva has been a resident of Connellsville most of her life. She was a graduate of Connellsville High School with the class of 1931. She was a long time and very active member of the Central Fellowship Church in Connellsville.

Eva held several different offices in the church and was a member of a number of church organizations including, Sunday School Teacher from the age of 15 for over 70 years, Missionary Treasurer for the Church for 20 years, member of the Christian Endeavor for many years and attended conventions as a Delegate in Philadelphia, Hawaii, Hershey, Portland, Maine, Portland, Oregon and Frankfort, Germany, Choir member for over 20 years, Chairperson of Central Fellowship Church Council for two terms, Treasurer for the Adult Christian Endeavor and Secretary for the Ruth and Naomi Missionary Circle.

In addition to her parents, Eva was predeceased by her husband of 66 years, Albert D. Fulmer, a sister, Wanetta Yoder, two infant brothers and two infant sisters.

Eva is survived by her loving nieces and nephews, Charlotte Hall and husband Clifford and family of Mount Pleasant, Gloria Sickles and family of Uniontown, Pa., Albert Shannon and wife June and family of Pine city, New York, Patricia Berger and family of Macungie, Pa., Bruce Shannon and wife Doreen and family of Catasauqua, Pa., Garth Dawson and wife Sally and family of Virginia Beach, Virginia and Eva G. Broadwater and husband Daniel of Uniontown, Pa.

Family and friends will be received in the BROOKS FUNERAL HOME INC., 111 East Green Street, Connellsville, Pa., on Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m., where a funeral service will beheld Saturday at 10 a.m. with Pastor Ray Keefer officiating.

A committal service and interment will follow in Green Ridge Memorial Park, Pennsville.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations be made to the Albert Gallatin Hospice, 20 Highlands Park Drive, Uniontown, Pa. 15401 in memory of Eva A. Fulmer.
