Wayne Halfin
Wayne Halfin, 77, of Point Marion, Pa., died Tuesday, December 26, 2006 at his home. He was a coal miner for 38 years, and had served for several years on the Point Marion Borough Council.
Surviving are four children, Nancy Cuppett and husband Bruce of Virginia Beach, Virginia, Vicki Brooks of Point Marion, Jane Bartuch and husband Greg of Masontown, Pa., and Richard Halfin and wife Cindy of Dunbar, Pa., seven grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren, a brother, Herman Halfin and wife Ruby of Menomonie, Wisconsin, and nieces and nephews
Friends will be received in the Richard R. Herod Funeral Home, Point Marion, on Thursday from 7 to 9 p.m.
