Edna M. Rose, 96, of Waynesburg, died Monday, December 25, in the Rolling Meadows Nursing Home. Mrs. Rose worked as a housekeeper for several Waynesburg families, she was also the cook in the Greene County Jail for 16 years.

Surviving are two daughters: Betty Shultz of Waynesburg, and Darlene Haley and husband, Thomas of Westlake, Ohio; two sons: Donald Morris of Jeanette, and Jacob Allan Rose and wife, Sheryl of Boise, Idaho; a daughter-in-law, Agnes Morris of Binghamton, N.Y.; 17 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.

Friends will be received from noon until 2 p.m. on Friday, December 29 in the Behm Funeral Homes Inc., 182 West High Street, Waynesburg.
