Linda L. Ezzi Meucci
Linda L. Ezzi Meucci, 82, of Uniontown, Pa., passed away Wednesday, December 27, 2006, in her residence. She was born in Edenborn on October 17, 1924, daughter of the late Gustino and Quintilia Tinerilli Ezzi.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Alfred Meucci on May 14, 1990, and two brothers, Albert Ezzi and Anthony Ezzi, Sr.
Linda was a member of Saint Therese de Lisieux Roman Catholic Church, Maria Montessori Lodge, Catholic War Veterans, and the Flower Bowling League at Laurel Lanes, and an Honorary Member of Saint Therese Altar Society.
She was a self-employed beautician working out of her home.
Linda was a wonderful, loving, and caring mother and grandmother.
She devoted her entire life to her family and welcomed everyone into her home with open arms.
She is survived by a daughter, Chris Mattiucci and husband, Rick of The Villages, Florida; four sons: Charles A. Meucci a very devoted son with whom she made her home, Frederick Joseph Meucci and wife, Nancy of Uniontown; Donald A. Meucci and his wife, Sherry of Jefferson Hills, Pa., Robert F. Meucci and wife, Stacy of McClellandtown, and ten grandchildren: Tiffany Mattiucci Duffy and husband, Josh, Charles Mattiucci and special friend, Sara, Melanie Meucci and special friend, Tim, Frederick Meucci Jr., Nicholas Meucci, Brian Meucci, Ariana Meucci, Giovanni Meucci, Donald Meucci, Jr., and Michelle Meucci; two sisters: Henrietta Kurcina and husband, Michael of Hopwood, and Jennie Sabatini of Uniontown; a brother, Joseph Ezzi and wife, Ida of Uniontown; and several nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received in the DOLFI FUNERAL HOME, Uniontown, today, December 30, 2006, from 11 a.m. until noon at which time a Blessing Service will be held, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in Saint Therese Roman Catholic Church with the Rev. Father Matthew R. Brozovic, O.F.M. as Celebrant.
Interment will follow in the Sylvan Heights Cemetery.
Visitation was also held on Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
