Josephine Francis Kavulick Quinn, age 80, of Perryopolis, Pa., passed away Thursday, December 28, 2006. She was born February 4, 1926, in Star Junction, Pa. Our beloved mother, grandmother and aunt was the daughter of Martin and Anna (Rush) Kavulick.

Josephine worked for a short time at Anchor Hocking in South Connellsville, Pa., but devoted most of her life to her family.

She enjoyed playing bingo and arts and crafts; she was talented in making ceramics.

Josephine’s love and her life was her family. Her sons, Greg Quinn of Hampton, Virginia, and Randy Quinn and his wife Marianne of St. Thomas, Pa., her daughter, Donna Nassry of Hopwood, Pa., grandson, Mike Nassry, and granddaughters, Meghan Quinn, Mackenzie Quinn and Shannon Quinn, as well as two special nephews, Joseph Benke of Ohio and Robert Benke of Delaware, survive her. In addition to her immediate family, three sisters, Patty Morgan of Perryopolis, Pa., Delores Prusack and Pauline Cannon both of New York, also survive her.

Josephine was preceded in death by her parents, her husband of 58 years, Don Quinn, her brothers, Martin, John, William and Albert, and sisters, Ann, Irene and Helen.

Friends will be received in the BLAIR-LOWTHER FUNERAL HOME INC., 106 East Independence Street, Perryopolis, Pa., today, December 31, from 7 to 9 p.m., New Years Day from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and Tuesday, January 2, 2007, until noon when a Prayer Service will be held.

A Mass of Christian Burial follows at 12:30 p.m. in Saint John The Baptist Roman Catholic Church, Perryopolis, with the Rev. Father John T. Euker as Celebrant.

Interment will follow in Saint John’s Cemetery, Perryopolis.

Wake Service will be held in the funeral home on New Years Day at 8 p.m.
