William Paul Marcolini Sr.

William Paul Marcolini Sr., 84, of Brownsville, Pa., passed away on Wednesday, June 28, 2006, in the Uniontown Hospital. He was born on October 2, 1921, in Bruceton, Pa., the son of the late Antonio and Natalina Bruno Marcolini.

Mr. Marcolini was a member of the Saint Nicholas Byzantine Catholic Church in Brownsville, Pa.

A veteran of World War II serving with the United States Army as a Corporal with the 447th Bombardment Group and 709th Bombardment Squadron and former member of the Brownsville Eagles.

He was employed from 1945-1967 by Hillman Coal and Coke Company at The Alicia Coke Works Plant and retired from Penn DOT in 1987.

He was predeceased by his wife, Anna Kosty Marcolini and three brothers, Albert, Samuel and Eugene Marcolini.

He is survived by his loving wife, Mary Ellen Orloski; two sons: William Paul Marcolini Jr. and his wife, Betty of West Brownsville, Pa., John A. Marcolini Sr., and his wife, Tammy of Brownsville, Pa.; four grandchildren: William Robert Marcolini and his wife, Jaime of Washington, N.J., Traci Webster and her husband, Jamie of Washington, Pa., Marian Marcolini and John A. Marcolini Jr., both of Brownsville, Pa.; one great-granddaughter, Marley Paige Webster; three sisters: Helen Francek of Fort Pierce, Fla., Ida Habaly of Denbo, Pa. and Louise Pierce of Mich.; one brother, James Marcolini of Bedford Heights, Ohio; five step children: Michelle Illar and her husband, Dennis of Malden, Pa., Michael Orloski and his wife, Deborah of Mentor, Ohio, Jamie Stringer and her husband, Barry of Daisytown, Pa., Renee Kolessar and her husband, Thomas of Penn Craft, Pa. and Gaylyn Davis and her husband, Bob of Roscoe, Pa.; 12 step grandchildren and five step great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received in the SKIRPAN FUNERAL HOME, 135 Park Street Brownsville, Pa., today and Sunday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 9 p.m., and on Monday, July 3, 2006, until 9:30 a.m., where a Panachida Service will be held followed by Divine Liturgy at 10 a.m., at Saint Nicholas Byzantine Catholic Church, Brownsville, Pa. with the Rev. Father Jerome Botsko as Celebrant.

Interment will follow in Saint Nicholas Byzantine Catholic Church Cemetery where full Military Rites will be accorded by American Legion Posts 295, 275, 940 and 838.

A Parastas Service will be held in the funeral home on Sunday evening at 7 p.m.
