Three-vehicle accident
State police said vehicles operated by Amanda Plumley, 20, of Crucible was transported to Washington Hospital for unknown injuries Friday following an 11:45 a.m. accident involving vehicles operated by Plumley, Thomas Johnston, 18, of Towson, Md., and Steven Mahlberg, 32, of Finleyville while traveling northbound along SS 79.

State police said someone struck and dented the bumper of a 2006 Honda Civic while it was parked at the Marathon gas station along University Drive June 8 at 5:30 p.m.

State police said someone hit the right front bumper of a 2003 Chrysler Voyager as the driver was traveling south on Breakneck Road Wednesday at 9:24 p.m. and left the scene.

State police investigated a report by William DeBerry, 49, of Uniontown after he alleged that a known male took his checkbook from his residence at 13 Booker Way Thursday between 8:30 p.m. and 9 p.m. Police said DeBerry notified the bank to change the account number and stop payment on the missing checks.

State police charged a 12 year-old from Fairbank with harassment and criminal mischief after he allegedly kicked Allyson Marie Haragos, 27, of Uniontown in the legs and grabbed her around the throat Thursday at 1 p.m. at New Directions School at 125 Chaffee Street.

State police said someone entered residences at Mt. Pines Resort owned by Arlene Loraine Koontz of Monroeville and Carol Ann Jones of Pittsburgh and removed the air conditioning units along with various home items sometime between 4 p.m. Wednesday and 3:30 p.m. Thursday.

Joy Shaffer of 45 Lenox Street rear told police her son, Eric Brown Jr., was visiting her brother’s apartment at 45 1/2 Lenox Street rear Friday when his roommate’s dog allegedly bit the boy’s face at 4:16 p.m. The Fayette County Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals was notified of the incident.
