Bernard “Tubby” P. Koval, 75 of Plum Borough, formally of Connellsville, died Tuesday, July 4, 2006, in Forbes Hospital, Monroeville. He was a graduate of Connellsville Area High School and California University of Pa., afterwards he served in the United States Army during the Korean War, prior to his retirement he was employed by the Pittsburgh Public School District as a shop teacher.

He is survived by his loving and caring wife of 45 years, Loretta (Fetsko) Koval of Plum; two daughters: Yvonne Creehan and husband, Keith of Upper Saint Clair and Dianne Butler and husband, Steve of Brookville, Md.; two grandsons; two brothers: Ted Koval and wife, Retha of Connellsville and Ray Koval and wife, Trish of Murrysville; an uncle and many nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received Friday from 1 to 4 and 6 to 9 p.m. in the Paul G. Fink Funeral Home, Inc., 418 North Pittsburgh Street, Connellsville, Pa.
