Richard L. Podlogar
Richard L. Podlogar, 64, of Willoughby, passed away in the Hospice of the Western Reserve surrounded by his family and friends. He was born October 21, 1941, in Maxwell, Pa. a former resident of Wickliffe.
Mr. Podlogar retired in 2001 from Lincoln Electric in Euclid after 42 years of service.
He was a member of the Willoughby Eagles 2300, the VFW 1500 in Willoughby, the American Legion Post 214 in Willoughby, The Willoughby Eagles will be hold a service at 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
Surviving are his daughter, Lisa Moriarty; grandson, Mackenzie Mariarty; siblings: John (Jean) Podlogar, Genevieve Patsko, Janet (Richard) Kurek and Margaret Ann (Sid) Brightwell; many nieces and nephews.
Deceased is his wife, Annette “Dani” (Preece) Podlogar; and a brother, Ugene Podlogar.
Visitation will be held in the MONREAL FUNERAL HOME, 35400 Curtis Blvd., Eastlake, on Thursday, July 6, 2006, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m., the Willoughby Eagles will hold a service at 8 p.m. on Thursday in the funeral home, and a funeral service will be held on Friday at 11 a.m. Burial will be held in the All Souls Cemetery in Chardon Township.
