Harold W. Wortman, Jr., 76, of Covington, Wash., died July 4, 2006, in Southwest Regional Medical Center, Waynesburg, Pa. Mr. Wortman graduated from Jefferson High School in 1947. He served in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict.

He lived in Ohio for 26 years before moving to the state of Washington where he lived for the last 28 years.

Mr. Wortman was a ramp service worker for United Airlines.

Surviving are his wife, Mary Stimmell; daughters: Kay Wiley and her husband, Jimmy of Albuquerque, New Mexico, Linda Ratliff and her husband, Ron of Yakima, Wash., Tracy Gorum and her husband, Paul of Cheney, Wash. and Linda O’Neal of Auburn, Wash.; nine grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; brothers, Warren Wortman of Fredericktown and Daniel Wortman of North Olmsted, Ohio.

Arrangements are be handled by the Behm Funeral Home Inc., 1477 Jefferson Road, Jefferson, Pa. 15344.
