Mildred Gertrude Lowry Stiner
Mildred Gertrude Lowry Stiner, 91, of Lemont Furnace, Pa., passed away peacefully at home Tuesday, July 4, 2006, with her loving family by her side. She was born October 2, 1914, in Lemont Furnace, Pa., the daughter of the late James and Susie Lowry.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph J. Stiner and her children: Jack Bell, Iris Lee Krifko and Barbara Stiner; and her brothers and sisters.
Mildred was a wonderful housewife and a devoted mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
Mildred is survived by her loving children: Larry Stiner and wife, Dorothy of Lemont Furnace, Gary Stiner and wife, Betsy of Lemont Furnace, Sue Stiner of Lemont Furnace, Patty Stiner of Uniontown, Frances Butler of Uniontown, Agnes Stiner of Lemont Furnace, Stephen Stiner and wife, Jamie of Lemont Furnace, Terri Stiner of Lemont Furnace, Pam Hixen and husband, Barry of Uniontown, Pa., and Bernadette Crayton and husband, Ted of Lemont Furnace; daughter-in-law, Elma Bell; son-in-law, Michael Krifko; and a special niece, Jane Thorpe. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and many other loving family members.
Friends will be received in the STEPHEN E. KEZMARSKY III FUNERAL HOME AT 71 PENNSYLVANIA AVENUE, UNIONTOWN, Pa., today, July 7, 2006, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 9 p.m. and Saturday, July 8, 2006, until 10 a.m., when a service will be held in the Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Elliott Leighty officiating.
Interment follows in the Sylvan Heights Cemetery.
