John R. James, 66, of Clarksville, Pa, died Friday, July 7, 2006, in his home. Mr. James was retired from the United States Air Force serving as a Master Sergeant at Ramstein AFB in Germany and also in South Korea. He most recently served as a Medical Technician with the 33rd Air Medical Evacuation Squadron in Pittsburgh, which was later redesignated the 911 Air Wing.

Surviving are daughters: Kate Eakman of Gresham, Ore., Barbara Mull of Washington, Pa., Melissa Jo Hancher of Eighty-Four, Pa. and Jeaneen Arthur of Washington D.C.; eight grandchildren; a sister, Mary Jo Lorimer of Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio; a brother, Michael James of Meyersdale, Pa.; friend, Mary Lou Bruce of Fredericktown, Pa.; nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received in the Greenlee Funeral Home, 42 Bank Street at Crawford Roads, Fredericktown, Pa., on Monday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m.
