Clara A. Wozniak, 74, of Nemacolin, Pa., died at 3:35 p.m. on Thursday, July 6, 2006 at her home surrounded by her family and friends. She was born May 16, 1932 in Washington, Pa., a daughter of the late Stephen and Anna Wanto Mikolay.

Mrs. Wozniak was a 1951 graduate of Centerville High School and resided in Nemacolin since 1957. She enjoyed her family, especially her grandchildren and great-granddaughter. Mrs. Wozniak also enjoyed bowling in her earlier years. On June 30, 1951, she married Walter T. “Whitey” Wozniak, who died May 6, 1995.

Surviving are a son, Walter S. “Whitey” Wozniak, with who she made her home; a daughter, Francene M. Sadlek and her husband, Rudy of Dry Tavern, Pa.; two beloved grandchildren, Jason Sadlek and Jennifer Radosevich; a beloved great-granddaughter, Brenna Claire Sadlek; a brother, Thomas Mikolay and his wife, Erlene of Saxonburg, Pa.; two sisters, Martha DiPuccio of Mayfield Heights, Ohio and Betty Morosky of Richeyville, Pa.; several nieces and nephews and her spiritual counselor and friend, Sister Dorothy of Albert Gallatin Hospice.

Deceased are a son, Stan T. Wozniak and five brothers, Steve, Frank, John, William and George Mikolay.

Family and friends are welcomed from Noon to 3 and 6 to 8 p.m. today in the YOSKOVICH FUNERAL HOME, Martin J. Yoskovich, Funeral Director, 300 South Vine Street (Route 88), Carmichaels, Pa. (724-966-5500) where a Blessing Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, July 10, 2006 with the Rev. Francis A. Nazimek officiating. Interment will follow at Greene County Memorial Park.
