James D. Ryland

James D. Ryland, 59, of Uniontown, Pa., died Friday, July 7, 2006, in his home. He was born on July 25, 1946, in Uniontown, Pa., to James A. and Louise Reagan Ryland.

He is preceded in death by his parents.

James was self-employed as an appliance technician and owner of J.D.s Appliance. James served in the United States Army from November 1965 to August 1967 in Viet Nam. He was a member of the Veteran’s of Foreign Wars Post 47, American Legion Post 51, the AMVETS Post 103, Hutchinson Sportsmen’s Club and the Uniontown Polish Club.

James is survived by his wife of 24 years, Susan Smith Ryland; and two sons: Jimmy Ryland and Nick Ryland both of Uniontown.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the ANDREW D. FERGUSON FUNERAL HOME, INC., 80 Morgantown Street, Uniontown, Pa.

The family will receive friends in the funeral home today, July 9, 2006, from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. and will continue on Monday, July 10, 2006, from 10 to 11 a.m. followed by a Celebration of his Life at 11 a.m. with Pastor Jason Lamar officiating.

Interment will follow at Mount Saint Macrina Cemetery, Uniontown, Pa. The VFW Post 47 will hold full Military Rites at the Mausoleum Chapel.
