ST. VINCENT DEPAUL STORE, Uniontown, is need of volunteer gardeners. Anyone interested is asked to call Roy Sarver at 724-439-9188 between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. Monday through Friday. BOSOM BUDDIES will meet at 2 p.m. Thursday in the parlor of the Trinity Presbyterian Church, corner of Fayette and Morgantown streets. Dr. Susan Stollings will be the guest speaker. The group is primarily a breast cancer support group.

CURFEW GRANGE meeting will be held at 7 p.m. Thursday. Meeting is open to the public at 7:30 p.m. for a discussion on the Flatwoods Fire Department’s request to purchase property at the recreation center. Voting on the sale will be held in August at the monthly meeting.

Carl Rudy, state grange executive committee, will discuss bylaws.

UNIONTOWN HIGH SCHOOL CLASS OF 2007 post prom committee will meet at 7 p.m. Thursday. Calendar tickets are being distributed to each senior to sell. For more information, call 724-437-1200 or 724-437-9033.

MONESSEN PUBLIC LIBRARY, 326 Donner Ave., will hold a puppet show Saturday at 11 a.m. for children up to age 11. Sadecky’s Puppet Show will perform a few Aesop’s Fables. Registration is required. An instructor from Children’s Museum of Pittsburgh will present a paper art program on July 17 at 11 a.m. for children ages 8 to 12, and on July 30 a paint-art program will be at 11 a.m. for children ages 3 to 6. HALL-SICKLE family will hold its 77th annual reunion on Sunday at Mon View Park, Greensboro. Dinner is at 1 p.m. Chicken and ham will be provided. Families are to bring a covered dish, soft drinks and wrapped gift for a white elephant sale. Free swimming for children up to age 19 is available.

CALVARY MONDAY NIGHT GROUP OF AA meets at the Calvary Methodist Church, Clark Street, Uniontown, on Mondays at 8:30 p.m. Speaker meeting is held the third Monday of each month.

HOPE IS ALIVE GROUP OF AA meets at the Tradition One Club, Colonial Plaza, Connellsville Street, Uniontown, at 8 p.m. Mondays.

H.O.W. GROUP OF AA meets at the Tradition One Club, Colonial Plaza, Connellsville Street, Uniontown, at noon on Wednesdays.
