Grave markers stolen
State police said someone broke into LaFayette Memorial Park maintenance building and stole around 62 flat, bronze grave markers sometime between 3:30 p.m. Thursday and 6 a.m. Friday. Police ask anyone with information to call the Belle Vernon barracks at 724-929-6262.

Two cited
State police cited Audie Saunder, 54, of Allison and Shawn Miciotto, 36, of Smock with disorderly conduct and harassment after they allegedly threatened Michael Grnya, 42, of Allison and caused a disturbance on Raleigh Street in Allison 1 at 8:30 p.m. Thursday.

Injury reported
Karen Torrance of Perryopolis suffered from a minor injury after the 2005 Volkswagen GTI she was driving swerved to miss a cat on Memorial Drive and traveled into a ditch at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, state police said. Torrance’s vehicle had light damage, said police. She was wearing her seatbelt at the time of the crash, police noted.

One transported
Chantel Crawley of Monessen was transported to a Pittsburgh hospital after the 1997 Chevy Suburban she was driving lost control during a heavy rainstorm and struck a concrete barrier on the Speers Bridge in the westbound lanes of Interstate 70 at 5:11 p.m. Wednesday, state police said. Crawley’s vehicle was severely damaged in the crash and required towing, according to police. Crawley was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash and the extent of her injuries were unknown, police said.

Myra Crenshaw of 29 Pershing Court told Uniontown police she heard four gunshots around 3 p.m. on July 14. According to police, Crenshaw’s front storm door appeared to have been shot out.

DUI charges
Daniel Charles Beckett was arrested by Uniontown police at 6:45 p.m. on July 14 and charged with DUI and possession of drug paraphernalia after a traffic stop on Morgantown Street. Beckett was driving with a suspended license, no insurance and stolen and expired vehicle registration, police alleged. Police further alleged they found an open beer can and hypodermic needles in the car.

Window smashed
Someone used an unknown object to smash the left, rear window on a 2003 Chevrolet van owned by Ronald R. Denunzio of Jeannette while the vehicle was traveling northbound on Route 119 at 9:26 p.m. Friday, said state police. Anyone with information on this investigation is asked to call state police in Greensburg at 724-832-3288.

Child injured
State police said a 7-year-old Marianna boy was transported to Children’s Hospital in Pittsburgh Friday for injuries sustained in a vehicle accident on Beallsville Road. Police said Amy Morrow, 31, and Joseph Fetsko, 26, both of Marianna, were injured in the accident, but refused treatment. The 8:17 p.m. accident occurred when the 1997 Dodge Grand Caravan operated by Morrow struck a guardrail along Beallsville Road and then traveled 75 feet before coming to a rest in the roadway. Marianna Volunteer Fire Department assisted at the scene.

Belle Vernon resident Rebecca Stevenson suffered from a minor injury after the 2005 Jeep Liberty she was driving and a 2005 Ford Escape operated by Gary Indof of Belle Vernon struck in the eastbound lane of Route 136 at 6:05 p.m. Thursday, state police said. Indof was not injured in the crash and both vehicles sustained light damage, said police.
