Alvin J. Branthoover, 63, of Perryopolis died Tuesday, July 18, 2006, in the Saint Margaret Memorial Hospital. Born in Belle Vernon on September 20, 1942, he is the son of Christabell A. (Hart) Branthoover, who survives and resides in Rostraver Township, and the late Alvie A. Branthoover.

Alvin was a crane operator and had worked for Wheeling Pittsburgh Steel Corporation. He was a member of Olive Branch Baptist Church in Rostraver Township.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife, Susan (Wolfe) Branthoover; son, Alvin J. Branthoover Jr. and wife, Paula of Star Junction; two granddaughters: Haley and Hannah Branthoover; brother, Tom Branthoover of Rostraver Township; two sisters: Karen Hannan of Rostraver Township, and Sharon Hamer of Fairhope.with Pastor George Lammay officiating.

Interment will be held at the convenience of the family.
