Cynthia Q. Carnathan
Cynthia Q. Carnathan, 39, of Towson, Md., formerly of Penncraft, Pa., died Saturday, July 15, 2006, in her home. She was born on October 5, 1966 in Parma, Ohio to Walter S. and Lucille Maston Carnathan, of Penncraft, Pa.
Cynthia graduated from Brownsville High School with the Class of 1984 and the Uniontown School of Nursing. She was a registered nurse at Harbor Hospital in Baltimore, Md. She worked in the recovery and emergency room and currently the PAC unit. She was a member of Holy Trinity Russian Orthodox Church, California, Pa.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by a brother, James Carnathan of Newmarket, N.H.; aunts, uncles, and cousins; and her Godparents, Kathryn and James Maston.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the ANDREW D. FERGUSON FUNERAL HOME, INC., 80 Morgantown Street, Uniontown, Pa. The family will receive friends in the funeral home on Wednesday, July 19, 2006, from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. and will continue on Thursday, July 20, 2006, from 8:30 until 9:30 a.m. A service will be held at Holy Trinity Russian Orthodox Church, California, Pa. at 10 a.m., with Father Stephan Romancheck officiating.
Interment will follow in the Holy Trinity Church Cemetery. Paratasis service will be held on Wednesday, July 19 at 7:30 p.m.
