Ann Louise West Doyle, went to be with the Lord on the morning of July 19, 2006. She passed away with her family in attendance at Camden Clark Memorial Hospital in Parkersburg, West Virginia, after a courageous battle with lung cancer.

Ann Louise West was born in Uniontown, Pa., on August 30, 1932, she graduated from Uniontown High School in 1950, and was an accomplished swimmer in her youth. Ann attended Shadyside Nursing Academy in Pittsburgh, graduated as a registered nurse and worked as a nurse for over 35 years, retiring in 1993 from Jackson General Hospital in Ripley, W. Va., after 28 years of service at the hospital.

Ann is survived by her loving husband of 52 years, William Doyle; her brother, William West of Philadelphia, Pa.; sons: Dan of Morgantown, West Virginia., Tim of Ravenswood, West Virginia., and Ron and his wife, Susie of Raleigh, North Carolina; and four grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Harold Albert and Margaret Lincoln West of Uniontown, Pa. and by three children: Michael Vincent Doyle, William Stirling Doyle, Jr., and Margaret Elizabeth Doyle.

Ann was known and loved by many, most especially for her genuine love and compassion for all living things.

Arrangements are being handled by ROUSH FUNERAL HOME, Ravenswood, West Virginia.

Friends were received on Friday, July 21, 2006, from 1 to 3 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m., at SAINT MATTHEW CATHOLIC CHURCH in Ravenswood, West Virginia, where a Funeral Mass will be held at 11:30 a.m., today, July 22, 2006, and a bereavement luncheon to follow at Saint Matthew.

Mrs. Doyle will be buried at her family gravesite in Chalk Hill, Pa., on Sunday with a Graveside Service at 1 p.m..
