Crime for July 23
Redstone Twp. Break-in probed
State police at Belle Vernon reported that George D. Lemon, 24, of Chestnut Ridge and Jennifer Moody, 22, of Conley, Ga., were awakened by an unknown person crawling through a bedroom window at Lemon’s Second Street home in Royal on July 5.
Police reported that Lemon and the intruder struggled and Lemon was able to force the person outside during the 5:21 a.m. incident.
Perryopolis
Tombstones disturbed
State police at Belle Vernon reported that three tombstones in the Quaker Church Cemetery in Perryopolis were knocked over between Thursday and Friday.

Accident reported
State police at Belle Vernon reported that Joshua Harvey’s vehicle drifted off the road along Route 166 around 9 a.m. Thursday, and he hit a retaining wall and went down a small embankment and into a ditch.
Police reported that the vehicle rolled onto its roof, but Harvey was uninjured during the accident.
Everson
Church’s lot damaged
State police at Belle Vernon reported that someone hit four fence posts in the parking lot of the Everson Evangelical Church along Painter and Jones streets around 2 a.m. Monday and then fled the scene.

Woman cited
Christina McGraw, 21, of Fairbank was cited for disorderly conduct after she allegedly caused a disturbance outside of 633 2nd St. in Fairbank around 1:20 a.m. on Thursday.
