Maxon-Tost
United in marriage on Dec. 17 were Janet Margaret Tost of Wintersville, Ohio, and Casey Jon Maxon, also of Wintersville. The Rev. Timothy McGuire celebrated the nuptial Mass at Holy Rosary Church in Steubenville, Ohio.
The bride is the daughter of Mike and Laura Tost of Beechwood Drive, Wintersville. The bridegroom is the son of Timothy Sr. and Patricia Maxon of West Brownsville.
Given in marriage by her parents, the bride wore an ivory, tulle over satin, gown embellished with gold and ivory lace, beads and Swarovski crystals. A gold crown was adorned with Swarovski crystals.
Matron of honor was Cheri Maxon, sister-in-law of the bridegroom. Ann Marie Tost, sister of the bride, was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Jane Bennett, Jennifer Powell, cousin of the bridegroom; Carrie Disouryavong, Christina Golden, cousins of the bride, and Madison Maxon, niece of the bridegroom. Camryn Maxon, niece of the bridegroom, was flower girl.
Best man for his son was Timothy Maxon Sr. Groomsmen were Timothy Maxon Jr., Christopher Maxon, brother of the bridegroom; Christopher Tost, brother of the bride; J. Budd Grebb, Robert Dunn and Shane Maxon, nephew of the bridegroom. Blake Disouryavong was ring bearer.
A reception was held at the Serbian Cultural Center in Weirton, W.Va.
The bride is a graduate of Franciscan University with a bachelor’s degree and a master’s degree in education. She is a fourth grade teacher at the Indian Creek School District, Hills Elementary.
The bridegroom is a graduate of Geibel High School and West Liberty State College. He is pursuing a master’s degree in administration at Franciscan University in Steubenville. He is employed as a teacher with the Jefferson County Alternative School.
The couple honeymooned in the Bahamas and Nemacolin Woodlands Resort. They are living in Wintersville.
