Pauline H. (Cerny) Mudery, 89, of Dunbar, Pa., died on Friday, July 21, 2006, in the Mount Macrina Manor Nursing Home. She was born on December 27, 1916, in High House, Pa., a daughter of Floyd and Anna (Skala) Cerny.

The last member of her immediate family, her parents, husband, Joseph Mudery, son, Ronald Mudery, brothers, Edward, Floyd, John, Lou and Raymond Cerny and a sister, Agnes Foriska, preceded her in death.

Pauline was a member of Saint Mary (Nativity) Roman Catholic Church. In earlier years, she was a Licensed Practical Nurse and later a homemaker. She was an avid gardener and wonderful mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.

Left to cherish her memory are her children: Joseph Mudery of High House, Pa.; Aurelia Berkey of Windber, Pa. and Conrad Mudery of Las Vegas, Nevada; ten grandchildren: Rose, Joan, Joseph, Edward and wife, Jennifer, Yvonne and husband, Jimmy, Russell, Steven, Brian, Ronald Jr., and Richard and wife, Cathy; many great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received in the STEPHEN R. HAKY FUNERAL HOME, INC., A DIGNITY MEMORIAL PROVIDER, 603 NORTH GALLATIN AVENUE EXTENSION, UNIONTOWN, Pa., today from 2 to 9 p.m. and on Monday, July 24, 2006, until 9:15 a.m.

A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 10 a.m. at Saint Mary (Nativity) Roman Catholic Church with the Rev. Father Micah E. Kozoil as Celebrant.

Interment will be held in Sylvan Heights Cemetery, Uniontown, Pa.
