Celia Marie Gosh Shaffer
Celia Marie Gosh Shaffer, age 59, of 204 Sangston Avenue, Masontown, Pa., died suddenly on Friday, July 21, 2006, at her home. She was born on April 20, 1947, in Uniontown, Pa., the daughter of Andrew Gosh and Helen (Borsos) Gosh.
Celia was a member of All Saints Roman Catholic Church in Masontown.
She graduated from Albert Gallatin High School, Class of 1965.
She was a legal secretary who had been employed with the Pentagon and also many law firms in the Uniontown (Pa.) area and later had been employed with the now former Fike’s Dairy on Craig Street in Uniontown, Pa., and the Masontown Printing Company.
Celia was preceded in death by her father and her brother, Vincent Gosh.
Left to cherish her memory are her mother, Helen (Borsos) Gosh of Masontown, Pa.; a daughter, Sherril L. Shaffer Robbins and her husband, Fred, of Masontown, Pa.; a son, Rick A. Shaffer and his wife, Rheanna, of Waynesburg, Pa.; a grandson, Brandon Robbins; two nieces: Tina Shaffer and her husband, Dale, of Masontown, Pa., and Christele DeVillanueva and her husband, Derek, of Manteca, California; and four great-nieces and great-nephews: Skyler Shaffer, Kelsee Shaffer, Charlie DeVillanueva and Kapono DeVillanueva.
The family will receive friends at the HAKY FUNERAL HOME INC., A Dignity Memorial Provider, 515 North Main Street, Masontown, Pa., on Wednesday, July 26, 2006, from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m.
A Memorial Service will be held in the Funeral Home Chapel at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Father John M. Butler officiating.
