Trailer fire labeled suspicious

1 min read

A trailer along Esther Street in Uniontown burned Monday night in a blaze labeled suspicious by authorities. The state police fire marshal is investigating the 9:07 p.m. fire that destroyed the vacant home. No one was injured and no adjacent property was damaged, said Uniontown Fire Department Chief Myron Nypaver, who noted the trailer was valued at only $1,700.

Fire crews responded to the blaze and stayed on scene for about an hour. The name of the owner of the trailer was not available Monday night.
