Doljac-Strong

Jane A. Strong and Kevin M. Doljac were united in marriage on Sept. 4 at the Laurel Hill Presbyterian Church, Dunbar. Bonnie Hartley heard the exchange of marriage vows.

The bride is the daughter of Joel and Deitra Strong of Strong Road, Smock. The bridegroom is the son of Joe and Bernie Doljac of West Highland Avenue, Uniontown.

Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a satin princess-line gown with curved neckline, beaded lace jacket with scalloped edged long sleeves and semi-cathedral train. A beaded and crystal tiara held a semi-cathedral length veil with satin trim.

Matron of honor was Joyce Smithburger, sister of the bride. Bridesmaids were Stephanie Barton, Wendy Karem, Christen Mateosky and Jana Piersol. Junior bridesmaid was Ashley Rider, cousin of the bridegroom. Flower girl was Keely Smiley, cousin of the bride.

Best man was Steven Doljac, brother of the bridegroom. Groomsmen were Ken Smithburger, brother-in-law of the bride; Dan Smith, Todd Kish and Michael Johns. Matthew Lowe, cousin of the bride, was junior groomsman. Ring bearer was Zachary Smith, godson of the bridegroom.

A reception was held at the Hopwood Social Hall.

The bride graduated from Uniontown Area High school, Pittsburgh Technical Institute and Penn State University, Fayette. She is an architectural designer with Altman & Altman Architects.

The bridegroom is a graduate of Uniontown Area High School and is a union drywall finisher.

The couple honeymooned at Deep creek, Md.

They are living on Youngstown Road, Lemont Furnace.
