From left, volunteers Jimmy Bittner, B.J. Plavi, Josh Nypaver and Alvin Sapp III will participate in the Uniontown Fire Department’s “Bail Your Hero Out of Jail” event this weekend. All proceeds from the fund-raiser, now in its fourth year, will go toward the fight against multiple sclerosis. This year, the jail cell will be set up at the corner of Fayette and Morgantown streets from 6 p.m. today through Sunday. In addition to the volunteers shown, who will spend 48 hours in the cell, many others will do time in “jail.”
