Julie Vaslavsky of Uniontown and Jason Osekowski of Canonsburg were united in marriage. The Rev. William J. Keil officiated the nuptial Mass on July 16 at St. John the Evangelist Roman Catholic Church, Uniontown.

The bride is the daughter of Frank and Karen Vaslavsky of Uniontown. The bridegroom is the son of Raymond Osekowski of Pittsburgh and the late Helen Osekowski.

Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore an A-line strapless gown of ivory dupionni silk with chapel train. A feather accented trio of flowers adorned the waistline. Her headpiece was a fingertip-length veil of illusion.

Beth Howe and Jen Hackett, sisters of the bride, were matrons of honor.

Michael Osekowski and Craig Osekowski, brothers of the bridegroom, were best men.

A reception was held at The Willow Room in Belle Vernon.

The bride graduated from Laurel Highlands High School and the Pennsylvania State University. She is an admissions counselor at Penn State Fayette, the Eberly Campus.

The bridegroom is a graduate of Seton LaSalle High School and the University of Pittsburgh. He is a maintenance coordinator with U.S. Steel Corp.

The couple honeymooned at Riviera Maya, Mexico.

They are residing at Meadowbrook Drive, Canonsburg.
