Handguns stolen A .22-caliber pistol with a cracked handle, which said it was made in Belgium, and a .38-caliber pistol were stolen from a vehicle owned by Edward Gulino, 65, of Smock at 575 Old Pittsburgh Road between midnight Thursday and 9 a.m. Friday, state police said. Police ask anyone with information about the theft to call the barracks at 724-439-7111.

DUI charge made

Driving under the influence of alcohol and summary traffic charges were filed against Donald R. McCourt, 36, of Normalville as a result of a traffic stop on Morgantown Street at 12:32 a.m. Feb. 24, state police said. The charges were filed at Magisterial District Judge Mark Blair’s office.

Accident reported

State police said Rebecca Joyce Peters of Farmington and Julie Ann Trayter of Scottdale were involved in an accident on Route 119 at University Drive at 7:39 p.m. Monday. No injuries were reported. Both vehicles were towed. The accident is under investigation.

Woman arrested

A homeless woman, Vikki Diane Cianni, 38, was charged with retail theft for allegedly stealing $11.25 in merchandise from Pechin Express on West Main Street at 3:25 p.m. Monday, city police said. She was arraigned before Magisterial District Judge Joseph George Jr. and committed to the Fayette County Prison in lieu of $10,000 straight cash bond.

Driver injured

State police said Wai Ming Tsang, 50, of Waynesburg and Andrew Schneider, 24, of Grindstone were involved in an accident at the intersection of Route 21 and McClellandtown-Lambert Road at 10:20 p.m. Saturday. Tsang was injured, police said. Both vehicles were towed.

City police said a car owned by Heather Merritt, 22, of Mississippi was stuck on a hillside in the parking lot of Darby’s Pub on Morgantown Street at 12:40 a.m. Tuesday.

Someone broke the plastic odometer cover inside a car owned by Gary Smith of Uniontown on Bethelboro Road at 6 p.m. Monday, state police said.

PFA violated

A charge of indirect criminal contempt was filed against Frank Anthony Ross, 47, for allegedly making collect phone calls to Elizabeth M. Bryner, 44, and Frank Anthony Ross Sr. at 10:30 a.m. Monday in violation of a protection-from-abuse order issued by Fayette County Common Pleas Court Judge Ralph C. Warman, state police said.

A window on Carolyn Rae Herbert’s residence at 3120 Richey Road was damaged between 7:30 and 8 p.m. Sunday, state police said.

Shelly Ann Bryner, 32, and Randall Cornelius Bryner, 34, were charged with harassment for allegedly fighting at a residence at 404 Center Ave. at 8:36 p.m. Monday, state police said.

City police said an unknown vehicle hit and caused minor damage to a vehicle owned by Elizabeth Musgrove at 76 Lenox St. at 6 p.m. Monday.

City police said Trevor Benko, 18, of Uniontown and Nancy Richter, 46, of Dunbar were involved in an accident at the intersection of Fayette Street and Wilson Avenue at 7:41 a.m. Monday. No injuries were reported.

A citation was filed against Harry Metz of Point Marion for allegedly using obscene language on Shadyside Road at York Run Road at 4:25 p.m. Monday, state police said. The citation was filed at Magisterial District Judge Randy Abraham’s office.
