Lisa Marie Arnold of New Salem is engaged to wed Thomas Milan Jr. of Grindstone in a ceremony set for Oct. 14. The bride-elect is the daughter of Betty J. Bates-Arnold of New Salem, and Jesse J. Arnold III of Baltimore, Md. She is a graduate of Uniontown Area High School and is employed at ABC School House, Uniontown.

Her fiance is the son of Thomas and Margaret Milan of Grindstone. He is a graduate of Brownsville Area High School and is self-employed.
