Regis E. Stein
Regis E. Stein, 76, of Brownsville, Pa., died Tuesday, March 21, 2006, in his sister’s home near Latrobe. He was born December 13, 1929, in Lycippus, a son of the late Dennis C. and Josephine (Priester) Stein.
Prior to retirement he worked at Westinghouse Air Brake in Wilmerding. He was a United States Army veteran of the Korean Conflict and was a member of Saint Peter’s Catholic Church, Brownsville.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Florence Regina (Pavlak) Stein; six brothers: Floyd, Morris, George Raymond, Joseph and Charles Stein; three sisters: Edna Schultz, Amelia Kloos and Esther C. Stein.
He is survived by a sister, Leona R. Stein of Latrobe, Rd 1; two brothers: Robert S. of Latrobe Rd 1 and Earl Stein of Arkansas and several nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m., Friday at the GAUT-BACHA FUNERAL HOME, INC., 2072 Route 130, Pleasant Unity. A Blessing Service will be held at 9:30 a.m., Saturday in the funeral home followed by a funeral mass to be celebrated at 10 a.m., in Saint Boniface Catholic Church, Chestnut Ridge, with the Rev. Simon J. Toth, O.S.B. as Celebrant. Private entombment will be in the LaFayette Memorial Park, Redstone Township.
