Henry Chory, 71, of Waynesburg, Pa., formerly of Dilliner, Pa. and Painesville, Ohio, died Tuesday, March 21, 2006, in the Beverly Health Care Center, Waynesburg, Pa. Born in Dilliner on May 19, 1934, he was a son of the late George Chory, Sr. and Mary Veronica Adams Chory.

He was a veteran of the United States Army and formerly employed as a master mechanic at Coe Manufacturing in Painesville.

Surviving are four brothers: Edward Chory of Elizabeth, New Jersey, George Chory, Jr. of Upper Saint Clair, Pa., Joseph Chory of Derwood, Maryland and Michael Chory of Dilliner; four sisters: Mary Tripodi of Union, New Jersey, Thrissa Chory of Cranford, New Jersey, Virginia Hudik Mascia of Boca Raton, Florida and Joan Lizambri of Somerset, Pa. and a number of nieces and nephews.

Predeceased are brothers: Elmer and John Jacob and sister, Ethel Kasmarcik.

There will be no public visitation. Friends are invited to join the family for a Mass of Christian Burial at Saint Ignatius Roman Catholic Church, Bobtown, Pa., on Saturday, March 25, 2006, at 10 a.m., with Rev. Father Lawrence V. Holpp as celebrant.

Interment follows in Evergreen Memorial Park, Point Marion.

Arrangements are in the care of the RICHARD R. HEROD FUNERAL HOME, Point Marion, Pa.
