State police said a car stereo owned by James Casper of McClellandtown was stolen from his vehicle while the vehicle was parked on Hoover Works Road between 11:30 a.m. Tuesday and 7:30 a.m. Wednesday.

Charges for driving while under the influence of alcohol are pending against a 16-year-old Tower Hill teen who was not injured when the vehicle he was driving crashed into a fire hydrant on Creek Road at 11:35 p.m. Wednesday, state police said.

State police said Shawn McGill, 23, of Vanderbilt suffered minor injuries when the vehicle he was driving struck a tree along Grimplin Road at 8:30 a.m. Monday.

State police said they are looking for a black man with a medium build suspected of stealing a vehicle in the Scenery Hill area on Route 40 on March 16 that was later recovered on Balsinger Road in Fayette County on March 19.

Woman charged
Uniontown police areported that Heather J. Wible, 32, of Lennox Street, Uniontown, was charged with retail theft before Magisterial District Judge Mark Blair.
She allegedly stole two pizzas from the Uniontown Pechin’s Express at 3:22 p.m. Wednesday.
