Windshield smashed Robert Newman of Smithfield told state police someone smashed the windshield out of his vehicle while parked outside of his 13 Washington Way residence at 8:07 a.m. Saturday.

Gasoline stolen
Someone pumped $27.44 worth of gasoline into a Pontiac sedan at the J&G Foodmart, 1156 Pittsburgh Road, at 4:13 p.m. Saturday and then drove off without paying, said state police.

State police reported that Anthony Rose of Brownsville was charged with simple assault after he punched William Tichnor of Coal Center during an argument at a business on High Street at 2 a.m. Sunday.

Girl missing
Uniontown police said taht Taneil Renee Comito of 141 E. Askren St. was reported missing by her mother at 11 a.m. Saturday. Police said Comito is a light-skinned black girl with brown hair and brown eyes.
Police are reporting that she was last seen on Thursday.

Vehicle recovered
A pickup truck owned by Ray Hetrick of East Millsboro that had been reported stolen Thursday was recovered wrecked on the railroad tracks in Luzerne Township at 1:30 a.m. Friday, state police said.
