Richard M. “Dick” Minor, age 58, of Stewartstown, West Virginia, died Sunday, April 30, 2006, at his home. He was born in Morgantown, West Virginia, the son of the late Thomas Minor and Nancy Kidwell Minor.

Richard had been employed as a truck driver and heavy equipment operator in strip mining, and was the former owner of Dick’s Recycling in Stewartstown.

He is survived by his wife, Linda Stafford Minor; three sons and their spouses, James and Verna Hunter, and Richard and Jody Hunter, all of Morgantown, Kenneth Hunter and his fianc? Susan of Mt. Clair, West Virginia; three daughters and their husbands, Mabel and Chris Cottrell, Lynda and Terry Smith and SueEllen and Lenny Barone, all of Morgantown; 13 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; two brothers; two sisters; and an uncle, Walter Minor and his wife Mildred of New Geneva, Pa.

Friends will be received in the RICHARD R. HEROD FUNERAL HOME, Point Marion, today from 7 to 9 p.m., Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m., and Friday until 11:00 a.m., the hour of service.

Interment follows in Forks-of-Cheat Baptist Cemetery, Stewartstown, West Virginia.
