Stella A. Sherry, 84, of Port Richey, Florida and formerly of Crucible, Pa., died Sunday afternoon, April 30, 2006, in Community Hospital, New Port Richey, Florida. She was born August 25, 1921, in Crucible, the daughter of the late Joseph and Ann Slage Waslousky. Mrs. Sherry attended Cumberland Township schools and resided in Florida for the past 22 years where she was a member of Saint Ann’s Roman Catholic Church of Port Richey. She was an avid bingo player.

Her husband, John Sherry, died February 28, 1996.

Surviving are a brother, John Waslousky of Crucible; many loving nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews and a sister-in-law, Donna E. Waslousky of McClellandtown, Pa.

Deceased are three brothers, Joseph, George and Charles Waslousky.

There will be no public viewing and family and friends are welcomed to attend a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m., on Friday, May 5, 2006, at Saint Mary’s Roman Catholic Church, Crucible with her great nephew, Bishop Mitchell T. Rozanski and the Rev. John M. Bauer as concelebrants. Interment will follow at Saint Mary’s Cemetery, Crucible. The YOSKOVICH FUNERAL HOME, Martin J.
