Ruby G. Wheeler
Ruby G. Wheeler, 94, of Masontown, Pa., passed away May 5, 2006, in Cloverdale Personal Care Home, Masontown. She was born January 1, 1912, in Vanderbilt, Pa., the daughter of Peter Whalen and Malzena Johnson Whalen.
On June 28, 1930, Ruby married William Wheeler Sr., who passed away in 1985.
She was a member of United Methodist Church of Masontown and enjoyed gardening and cooking.
She is survived by children: Kenneth Wheeler and wife, Charlotte of Loudain, Tennessee, Arleen Ross of Greensboro, Pa., Marilyn Gibbs and husband, Paul of Masontown, Geraldine Capiot of Medina, Ohio and Linda Hanley and husband, Mark of Carmichaels; 20 grandchildren; 31 great grandchildren and seven great-great grandchildren.
She was the last of her immediate family.
In addition to her parents and husband, Ruby is preceded in death by a son, William, Jr., a grandson, Kenneth, Jr. and a great granddaughter, Amee Kimmel.
Friends will be received in the PAUL LESAKO FUNERAL HOME, INC., 204 Dowlin Avenue, Carmichaels, Pa., today from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and on Sunday from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. the hour of Service.
Interment will be in Dickerson Run Cemetery, Vanderbilt, Pa.
