Ann M. Wainiski Barno, age 85, of Brownsville, Pa., passed away on Friday, May 5, 2006, in UPMC Presbyterian Hospital, Pittsburgh. She was born on March 10, 1921, in Isabella, Fayette County, Pa., the daughter of Joseph Wainiski and Anna Adamitis Wainiski.

Ann was a member of The Historic Church of Saint Peter in Brownsville.

She was formerly employed as a Floral Designer and Manager of the Johnston The Florist store in Brownsville.

She was predeceased by her parents, her husband, Michael Barno, and three brothers: Joseph Wainiski, Frank Wainiski and Stanley Wainiski.

She is survived by her daughter with whom she resided, Cheryl Barno; niece, Patricia Kaminsky and her husband, Bernard, and their daughter, Ashley, all of Grindstone, Pa.; and a sister-in-law, Florence Wainiski, also of Grindstone.

Friends will be received in the SKIRPAN FUNERAL HOME, 135 Park Street, Brownsville, Pa., today from 2 to 4 and 6 to 9 p.m. where a Prayer Service will be held on Monday, May 8, at 11:30 a.m.

A Funeral Mass follows at noon in The Historic Church of Saint Peter in Brownsville with the Rev. Father Vincent Gigliotti as Celebrant.

Interment will follow in LaFayette Memorial Park, Brier Hill, Pa.

The Parish Rosary will be recited in the Funeral Home today at 3 p.m.

Visitation was also held Saturday evening from 6 to 9 p.m.
