George Kotyuha
George Kotyuha, age 90, of Masontown, Pa., passed away Wednesday, May 3, 2006, in his home. He was born May 10, 1915, in Lamberton, Fayette County, Pa., the son of George and Mary Kotyuha.
George was a member of Saint John The Baptist Byzantine Catholic Church in Uniontown, Pa.
He had been employed as a coil winder for Dudley Electric.
George was preceded in death by his parents, infant twin daughters, a granddaughter, Molly Kotyuha, his sisters, Veronica Kotyuha, Anna Farris, Helen Kotyuha and Katherine Kotyuha, and a brother, Joseph Kotyuha.
He is survived by his wife, Cecelia Mullen Kotyuha; his children: Greg Kotyuha and his wife, Julie, of Jefferson, Pa., George Kotyuha Jr. and his wife, Cynthia, of Smock, Pa., Nadine Morgan and her husband, Robert, of Smock, Pa., Kimberly and her husband, P. J. Walt, of Uniontown, Pa., Andrea and Scot Lehman of Revere, Pa., and Cheryl Kotyuha and her friend, Ian Kelly, at home; 14 grandchildren; and a niece, Janet Seibert of Jamestown, Pa.
Friends will be received in the DEARTH FUNERAL HOME, 35 South Mill Street, New Salem, today from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and on Monday, May 8, until 10:30 a.m. when a Panachida will be held in the Funeral Home.
Divine Liturgy follows at 11:15 a.m. in Saint John The Baptist Byzantine Catholic Church, East Main Street, Uniontown, with the Rev. Father Thomas J. Wesdock officiating.
Interment will follow in Mount Saint Macrina Cemetery, Uniontown.
Parastas Service will be held in the Funeral Home today at 3 p.m.
Visitation was also held on Saturday after 7 p.m.
