St. Thomas Church in Footedale was the setting for the marriage of Kara J. Gallagher and William F. Nicklow Jr. Rev. James Popochock heard the exchange of vows .
The bride is the daughter of William and Janet Gallagher of Uniontown. The bridegroom is the son of William Nicklow of Uniontown and Robin Nehela of Fairbank.
Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore an organza, strapless, A-line gown with beaded bodice and a triple tiered chapel train. Her fingertip two-tier veil was attached to a silver tiara set with crystal beading.
Jana Gallagher was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Trisha Gallagher Fronczek, Christa Gallagher Sabatula, and Amy Nicklow Bogdewic. Flower girls were Shelby and Elizabeth Bogdewic.
Jeremy Denny was best man. Groomsmen were David Harper, Lance Gallagher, Jonathan Martin, Frank Koza, and Walter Lehman.
A reception followed at the Uniontown Jewish Community Center.
The bride graduated from Laurel Highlands High School in 1999, from Pennsylvania State University in 2003, and from Robert Morris University in 2005.
She is a business education teacher at Hempfield School District in Landisville.
The bridegroom graduated from Brownsville High School in 1999 and from California University of Pennsylvania in 2002.
He is a corrections officer for The Pennsylvania Department of Corrections at S.C.I. Camp Hill and a member of the CERT team.
The couple resides in Middletown.
