Stanley S. “Stush” Kurowski, age 75, of Ellsworth, Pa., died Monday, May 1, 2006, in his home following a lengthy illness. He worked in the coalmines and later worked for Heavy Highway Construction as a mason.

He is survived by his wife, Ella Martin Kurowski; two sons, Steven Kurowski and Chad Kurowski both of Maine; a daughter, Elizabeth Rush of Ellsworth; six grandchildren; two brothers, Edward and Joseph Kurowski; and a sister Elizabeth Yarkosky.

Services were private and under the direction of Greenlee Funeral Home, 619 Main Street, Bentleyville, Pa.
