John “Jack” Taylor Riggs
John “Jack” Taylor Riggs, age 71, of Honolulu, Hawaii, died Monday, May 8, 2006, in his home in Makakilo, Honolulu, Hawaii. “Jack” was born July 12, 1934, in Uniontown, Pennsylvania, the son of George Weldon Riggs and Osta Pearla Stollar Riggs.
“Jack” graduated from Uniontown High School in 1952.
He attended and graduated from Penn State University in 1956, along with his wife, Kathy.
“Jack” served as a pilot, United States Air Force, and was a Captain when his tour of duty was completed.
He then attended and graduated from the George Washington School of Law.
“Jack” practiced law in Colorado Springs, Colorado, and continued his law practice in Honolulu, Hawaii, retiring as a Deputy Prosecuting Attorney for the City and the County of Honolulu.
He is survived by his loving wife, Kathy; three sons: Kevin Riggs, Taylor Riggs and Brian Riggs all of Makakilo, Hawaii; a brother, George W. Riggs Jr.; and a sister, Audre Riggs Lewis.
A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, May 18, 2006, at THE NATIONAL MEMORIAL CEMETERY OF THE PACIFIC AT PUNCHBOWL, HONOLULU, HAWAII.
