Paul T. Kinkus, age 84, of Swanton, Ohio, and formerly of Chalk Hill, Fayette County, Pennsylvania, passed away on Saturday, May 13, 2006. Born January 23, 1922, in Uniontown, Pennsylvania, he was the son of Samuel Kinkus and Josephine (nee Warick) Kinkus.

Paul was a Civil Engineer for the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) for many years and most recently for the Army Corps of Engineers, from where he retired.

Paul was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Katharine Kinkus, two sons, Steven Patrick Kinkus and Joseph Girard Kinkus, two brothers and three sisters.

Paul is survived by his children: Karen Kinkus, Mary Kinkus, Paul Kinkus, Tom Kinkus, Jane Kinkus and Darlene Kinkus Konzal; and two grandchildren.

There will be no visitation.

Services will be private.
