Ann M. Maize Raymond
Ann M. Maize Raymond, 88, of Brownsville, Pa., passed away Monday, May 15, 2006, at the Monongahela Valley Hospital, Monongahela, Pa. She was born on March 14, 1918, in Monongahela, Pa., (although raised in Smock, Pa.) the daughter of Robert L. Maize and Anna Brady Maize.
Ann was a retired Payroll Clerk for Brownsville Area School District, Brownsville, Pa.
She was a member of the Historic Church of Saint Peter in Brownsville, Pa. and an avid Bridge player.
She was preceded in death by her parents, one son, James A. Raymond in 1967, one sister, Rita Bieniek, and one brother, Robert Maize.
She is survived by one daughter, Roberta A. “Sis” Meese and husband George of Brownsville, Pa.; granddaughter, Jamie R. Gammon and husband Ros L. Gammon IV of Hiller, Pa.; grandson, George Meese III and wife Jennifer L. of East Millsboro, Pa.; two sisters, Theresa Miller of Wilmington, Delaware and Susan Reed of Uniontown, Pa.; sister-in-law, Ruth Maize of Uniontown, Pa.; great-grandson, Tyler Givens of Brownsville, Pa.; great-granddaughter, Maddison Angelone of East Millsboro, Pa.
Friends will be received in the NOVAK FUNERAL HOME, 515 Front Street, Brownsville, Pa., on Wednesday from 3 to 8 p.m. and on Thursday, May 18, until 9:30 a.m. when Prayers of Transfer will be said.
A Mass of Christian Burial follows at 10a.m. in the Historic Church of Saint Peter with the Rev. Father James Petrovsky, as Celebrant.
In addition to flowers, memorial contributions can be made in Ann’s name to Saint Peter’s Roman Catholic Church, 118 Church Street, Brownsville, Pa.
Interment will follow at Redstone Cemetery, Brownsville, Pa.
