Charge filed State police said a summary charge was filed against Jam Dawson, 52, of Scottdale after he allegedly hit Yvonne Stull, 47, of Scottdale in the face during an altercation at their Baltimore Avenue residence at 12:15 a.m. Saturday.

Man arrested

Denver Murphy Jr., 26, of Dunbar was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol at 1:45 a.m. May 8 after an officer conducted a traffic stop on Murphy for erratic driving and misuse of registration, state police said.

Window broken

Kevin Shaffer of 650 Breakneck Road reported that someone broke the rear passenger window out of his 2001 Chevrolet Cavalier at 6:46 p.m. Monday, state police said.

DVDs stolen

State police reported that someone entered Amy Cullen’s 420 Messmore Road residence between noon and 4:30 p.m. Monday and stole about 100 DVDs.
