Stella A. Buncic Urbania, 89, of Smithfield, Pa., was called home by her Heavenly Father on Tuesday, May 16, 2006, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on June 18, 1916, in Whitsett, Pa., the daughter of Steve Buncic and Frances Zeb Buncic.

She worked hard on their farm for many years, and loved to bake and cook for her family. A beloved mother, grandmother and “Bubba”, she was the strength of her family, and will be dearly missed.

She was predeceased by her parents, her husband, Vincent Urbania in 1946, and by three brothers and two sisters.

Left to cherish her memory are four children, Janet Doldan and Vincent J. Urbania at home, Patrick J. Urbania, of R.D. 2, Smithfield, Pa., and Joanne Graziani and her husband Enrico, of Land-O-Lakes, Florida; six grandchildren and their spouses, Renee and Jeff Riley of Morgantown, West Virginia, Stephanie and Michael Bradley of Greencastle, Pa., Tonette and Ken Clere of Grand Forks, North Dakota, Richard and Susan Graziani of Morgantown, Daphne and Mark Bowman of Elkins, W.Va., and Janel and Scott Martin of Smithfield, nine great-grandchildren, Ashley and Morgan Riley, Marcus and Miranda Bowman, Ryan Bradley, Austin and Noah Martin, and Sara and Alex Graziani, three sisters, two brothers and a number of nieces and nephews and many friends who will miss her very much.

Friends will be received in the RICHARD R. HEROD FUNERAL HOME, Point Marion, today from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and on Friday until 10:30 a.m., when a Prayer Service will be held, followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. in Saint Hubert’s Roman Catholic Church, Point Marion, with Rev. Father Joseph Sredzinski as Celebrant. Interment follows in Evergreen Memorial Park, Point Marion.

The Rosary will be recited this evening at 8:30 p.m. in the funeral home.
